Live the Experience

During TRIO Upward Bound’s Summer Academy, you’ll learn about college life firsthand. For six weeks, you’ll take academic classes on Purdue Fort Wayne’s campus, living in our on-campus student housing for three of those weeks.

We offer classes in math, language arts, science, foreign languages, and electives such as dance or art. Weekly trips and activities also take place. Along with expanding your knowledge base, the Summer Academy will allow you to gain a sense of independence, improve social-interaction skills, and, most importantly, lessen your anxiety about college.
