CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification Classes
Do you know how to recognize cardiac arrest and how to begin CPR? Can you quickly locate an AED (automated external defibrillator) in your work place and operate it if necessary? If you don't know CPR or if your certification has expired, sign up for certification classes on campus. Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest. Knowing CPR and how to use an AED as well as some basic first aid skills can help save a life.
All employees, students, and community members pay the same price for the classes. Classes will be held in-person on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus in Walb Student Union, Room G08 unless otherwise noted. Class size is limited to 20 people.
Choose one of these certification options when registering for classes when they are available:
- CPR/AED/First Aid: $70 (4 hours)
- CPR/AED Only: $50 (3 hours)
Visit the Division of Continuing Studies web site to inquire about the schedule of classes or check out the Events Calendar.
