Collaborative Research Grants
Objective
To facilitate NEW cross-disciplinary research collaborations on campus that lead to future external funding.
Eligibility
All tenure-track and tenured faculty are eligible.
Exclusion Criteria
Recipients of past Collaborative grant funding are excluded from future competitions unless they have secured external funding.
Award
Grant amount is up to $15,000. The grant period is the Summer following award notification.
Note: If academic year faculty request a salary stipend, they cannot teach during the Summer. Any budgeted salaries or stipends must be used in the Summer. However, funds can be budgeted into the academic year for covering project related expenses (e.g., student workers, paying consultants). The bulk of the faculty’s project must be conducted during the Summer.
