Grant-in-Aid of Research or Creative Activity
Objective
To support faculty research and scholarship; to initiate new faculty research and creative activities; to supply modest support at unusually critical times.
Eligibility
All tenured and tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply. Only one application per year per faculty member. A faculty member may not have more than two awards in any four-year period.
Award
Funding may be awarded up to $1,000. The applicant's department and/or school/college must provide an equal amount.
Funds can be used for expenses not eligible for funding through other resources. Funds may not be used for wages, salary, or conference attendance/participation. Travel requests of any nature are not accepted.
Application Guidelines
Applications are closed for 2022-2023.
Applicants must submit the following information:
- Description of the research
- How this award will facilitate the larger scope of the project
- Previous financial support (internal and external) for this project
- Description and estimated cost of activities for which this grant is being sought
