Dr. Christopher M. Grindrod is Clinical Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Program Director of the M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, Program Director of the Gerontology Certificate, and Director of the Aphasia and Language Lab. He currently teaches undergraduate courses on communication disorders, phonetics and neuroanatomy, and graduate courses on acquired language and cognitive-communication disorders. His research focuses on investigating language impairments in aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders associated with right hemisphere brain injury. He is also interested in studying age-related changes in language comprehension. He has published in these areas for over 20 years.
