Summit City Journal: Showcasing student brilliance
We love our Mastodon community, but we’re also part of something bigger. Fort Wayne is more than just our campus location. It’s our home. And it’s a growing, thriving community that we love. That’s why we offer resources, events, and opportunities for our fellow Fort Wayne friends.

Mastodons love to give back. This past year, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodon athletics teams dedicated numerous hours to community service. They showed their commitment to the city by volunteering at the Dsani Buddy Walk and Holiday party; making a difference through TEAM impact; and working with Turnstone, the Community Harvest Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more.
Basketball games. Theatrical productions. Walking trails. Continuing studies. The food pantry. Take advantage of the many opportunities and resources on campus that are open to the local community.
