Dr. Adilov attained his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Cornell University and his B.A. in Economics, Accounting, and Management from Hartwick College. His research has been published in esteemed economics and policy journals such as Economic Inquiry, Environmental and Resource Economics, Space Policy, Economics Letters, International Journal of Industrial Organization, and Energy Journal. His work, which spans the fields of space economics, media economics, industrial organization, energy economics, and applied economics, has also been featured in prominent national and international media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and The Washington Post. In addition to presenting his research at esteemed academic and professional events such as the American Economic Association Meeting, International Space Development Conference, NASA-sponsored International Orbital Debris Conference, International Industrial Organization Conference, Federal Communications Commission Economic Seminars Program, NASA Exploration Science Forum & European Lunar Symposium, and Next Space European Symposium, Dr. Adilov has also served as editor of the Journal of Media Economics and president of the Academy of Business Economics affiliated with the Midwest Business Administration Association (MBAA) International. He has been recognized with various research and teaching awards, including the MBBA International McGraw-Hill/Irwin Distinguished Paper Award, Purdue University Fort Wayne Outstanding Research Award, and the IPFW Students' Choice Award for Teaching Excellence.
