Dr. Friedman became Dean of the College of Science with the birth of the college on July 1, 2021. He previously served as interim Dean of the now-disbanded College of Arts and Sciences following a lengthy stint as chairperson of the Chemistry Department. His interests and research areas lie in the field of physical chemistry, which has also been his primary teaching responsibility.
