Dr. Roberts was born and raised in Germany, where she received her M.A. in German Linguistics from Heinrich-Heine Universitaet, Duesseldorf in 2001. She is the daughter of Korean immigrants in Germany.
She came to the US in 2001 to begin her PhD studies at UC Berkeley. After completion of her PhD program in 2005, she arrived in Fort Wayne, where she has been teaching at IPFW and PFW since 2006.
