Zelimir William Todorovic is a professor of Purdue University, Fort Wayne. Before receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Canada, Dr. Todorovic was a three-time entrepreneur. He continues to lead a federally registered Canadian not-for profit organization, as well as an US 501C3, both of which provide humanitarian aid and training in the regions of Eastern Europe with a focus on Serbia.
His research interests include the development of entrepreneurially oriented culture within colleges and universities, and an effective entrepreneurship education and development. He has published numerous papers in respected Canadian, American and UK academic journals, and served as a special issue editor for the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business. Dr. Todorovic currently sits on the boards of International Journal of the Business and Management Study, International Journal of the Science and Human Behavior Study, International Journal of Multidisciplinary Education Research, and Technology and Investment Journal.
From 2004 till 2009 Dr. Todorovic served as the Director of Entrepreneurship Certificate Program, and consulted with over 50 companies. His graduate students won the Venture capital competition in San Francisco, and finished in the top 10 in Boston, thereafter securing funding for a new startup venture. In 2011 competing amongst 604 universities in Singapore, his undergraduate students finished in 4th place in the World. Likewise a number of Dr. Todorovic classes tied for the 1st place in Business Strategy Simulation in the world, competing amongst 50,000 students from 40 countries.
Dr. Todorovic served as a keynote speaker (plenary series) at the Colleague Centre, Novi Sad, Serbia. He also held faculty training seminars at the Nanjing University of Technology (Nanjing, China), and Huaian Normal University (Huaian, China). Dr. Todorovic also served as a visiting scholar at ZheJiang Gongshang University, Hangzhou, China (December 2009-January 2010).
