Graduate Credit Hour Rates
The following are the credit hour rates for full-time resident graduate students for the 2024–25 academic year:
- Resident graduate students: $391.75 per credit hour
- Ohio Reciprocity degree-seeking graduate students: $391.75 per credit hour
- Nonresident graduate students: $886.75 per credit hour
- International graduate students: $921.78 per credit hour
Additional fees may apply. Course-specific fees (e.g., for labs, differentials, course materials, eText or IncludED books, insurance, chef’s jackets and hats, clay, metal, and first-year programs) are not included in the rates above.

Whether or not it is noted on the tuition and fees above, any resident of Allen, Auglaize, Butler, Darke, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Mercer, Paulding, Preble, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert, and Williams Counties of Ohio who enrolls and satisfies all regular admission requirements to a graduate degree program at Purdue University Fort Wayne is eligible to pay Indiana resident tuition rates as part of the Tuition Reciprocity Agreement between Indiana and Ohio Agencies and Institutions. This agreement is set to run through July 1, 2023, and may be extended.
Remember that you will have additional costs, such as supplies, entertainment, clothing, and transportation. These, of course, depend on your lifestyle. Also keep in mind that attendance cost will increase 2 to 3 percent each year.
