Whether or not it is noted on the tuition and fees above, any resident of Allen, Auglaize, Butler, Darke, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Mercer, Paulding, Preble, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert, and Williams Counties of Ohio who enrolls and satisfies all regular admission requirements to a graduate degree program at Purdue University Fort Wayne is eligible to pay Indiana resident tuition rates as part of the Tuition Reciprocity Agreement between Indiana and Ohio Agencies and Institutions. This agreement is set to run through July 1, 2023, and may be extended.

Remember that you will have additional costs, such as supplies, entertainment, clothing, and transportation. These, of course, depend on your lifestyle. Also keep in mind that attendance cost will increase 2 to 3 percent each year.

Graduate Assistantships

Gain experience, make money, save money.

One of the great opportunities of graduate school is to serve as a graduate assistant. At Purdue Fort Wayne, you can help in the areas of teaching, research, or administration. This support role will allow you to work closely with faculty to conduct research, present findings at conferences, or teach courses, all while completing your education, receiving a reduced tuition rate, and being compensated.

The availability and responsibilities of assistantships vary from program to program. Contact your school, division, or department to get more information. Also, these positions are very competitive, so inquire early.
