Five-Year Reviews for Administrative Officers
April 3, 2019
Dear Colleagues,
Purdue University policy requires a review of administrative officers on a periodic basis (Review of Administrative Officers, VI.F.3).
We are currently conducting five-year reviews for two individuals—Carl Drummond, vice chancellor for academic affairs and enrollment management, and David Wesse, vice chancellor for financial and administrative affairs. Each has prepared written reviews of their accomplishments for the past five years, as well as goals for the next five years. Those documents may be found here.
Later this week, you will receive an email containing a brief survey that will be conducted April 5–12, where you will be able to provide input as part of the review process. Your responses will be kept confidential. In order to ensure anonymity, the surveys will be conducted by the Purdue University Office of Leadership and Organizational Development on the West Lafayette campus, a third party that the university has worked with previously regarding confidential/anonymous surveys. I would very much appreciate your participation and feedback.
Should you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact Cynthia Springer, associate vice chancellor for HR/OIE, at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Ron Elsenbaumer
Chancellor
