Safety Fair / Radiological and Environmental Management
August 30, 2019
Dear Colleagues,
Safety and security are our top priorities at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
We have developed numerous programs and procedures that contribute to a safe and secure campus environment. We hope you will visit the university’s Emergency Information website to learn more and to familiarize yourself with information that is vital during an emergency.
The university’s Office of Radiological and Environmental Management will present its inaugural Safety Fair next Wednesday, September 4, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in Walb Student Union, Room 143. Faculty and staff are invited to attend. You’ll learn important information about emergency procedures, personal safety, and Purdue’s Integrated Safety Plan. An agenda is attached, and you may register here.
We would like to also strongly encourage you to update your contact information in the university’s RAVE emergency notification network. In the event of a campus emergency, information is pushed to you immediately via RAVE. Please log in to goPFW to register for text message alerts that are delivered directly to your registered mobile devices in the event of a campus emergency. This will ensure timely delivery of critical messages regarding your safety and security on campus.
Thank you for taking an active role in the safety and security of our campus.
Sincerely,
Ron Elsenbaumer
Chancellor
