Career Connections: Real World Scoop with the Career Development Center

Come meet your Career Development Center team and learn all the ways they can help you prepare for internships and job opportunities for now and your future!
- Connect with Tracey Hanton about workshops, DEI and the Endorsed Program.
- Staff will be available discuss how to set an appointment with a Career Counselor, resume writing and interview resources.
- Spend a few minutes with Melissa Lawson and get the real world scoop about academic Internships, OPT/CPT forms and co-op opportunities.
- Melody Monday will provide a few items as an example of the Career Closet that's available to students preparing for interviews.
- We will also have staff on hand to assist you in registering for Handshake, the platform used to help you access internship and job opportunities.
Advanced registration is not required to attend but you can earn Endorsed/Passport points for attending! Ask us how when you arrive at the IDEA Space in the Helmke Library!
Pizza, popcorn and soda will be provided on a first come first serve basis from 12pm-1pm! Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time and visit each table, the choice is yours.
