Employee Well-being at Work: Foam Rolling Exercises
Athletics Center Fitness Studio
For this month's Employee Well-being at Work event, we will focus on physical health by offering15-minute foam rolling exercise classes which target different parts of the body. Please watch the recording of Foam Rolling 101 workshop from August 1 for an introduction and basics of foam rolling.
Join health coach Lindsay Bloom each week to attend the in-person classes which will meet in the Fitness Studio. You can also register to join the live-stream on Zoom. See registration options below.
There are a limited number of foam rolls located at the Gates Center for use. If you would like to buy your own foam roll, Lindsay recommends this foam roll to purchase.

Employee Well-being at Work
The Employee Well-being at Work event for faculty and staff in August will promote physical health, one of the Healthy Boiler Pillars of Wellness.
Health coach Lindsay Bloom will discuss the benefits of foam rolling in a Healthy Boiler Virtual Workshop and then will offer a 15-minute exercise foam rolling class for you to learn the exercises.
These classes also help reinforce this month's Healthy Boiler challenge—stretch or foam roll for 10-15 minutes a day.
Visit the Employee Well-being web site for upcoming events for faculty and staff.

Employee Well-being at Work is a program where the Employee Well-being team will be available to meet with faculty and staff each month. Our team is focused on working for you and your well-being.
Each month we will visit a different building and offer health and well-being tips or health checks, healthy snacks, giveaways, and information about upcoming events and programs. We would also like to gather information about your biggest health and well-being concerns so we can create programs to address your needs.
