Mental Health Awareness Week: DIY Yarn Pumpkin
Walb Student Union, Suite 222–226
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, employee health coach Lindsay Bloom will offer a DIY craft class where you will make a yarn pumpkin for your own Fall decor. Making a hand-crafted item or creating a piece of art is a fun way to de-stress and relax. Open to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
Please sign up and stop by between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to make your pumpkin.
Registration ends Wednesday, October 11.
Take 10 Minutes for Health and Well-being
Mental Health Awareness Week
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Employee Well-being will join other departments and offices to show support for mental health by offering activities and events throughout the week on October 9-13. Certain events—Employee Yoga Class and the Employee Well-being at Work: Breathing for Relaxation—which are normally for employees only, will be open for students to join during this week.
Beside the DIY yarn pumpkin craft, other activities include kayaking, planting your own succulent, free mental health awareness t-shirts, resource tables, therapy dogs, Andy the therapy miniature horse, a song list selected by our students called PFW WellRec: Chill Vibes on Spotify, and much more.
Visit the Events Calendar for more information.
