Becca Essig of ETCS discusses Artemis I mission, women of STEM
NASA is set to Launch its Artemis Rocket this Saturday. The mission is a stepping stone to sending Americans to space in three years. Among the crew will be a woman, the first to go to the moon. Becca Essig will be watching that launch on Saturday She’s an engineering professor at PFW and an advocate for supporting women in STEM— that’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Essig spoke to Krista Miller about some of the challenges in being in a male-dominated field.
