Even conversations with close friends and family have been changed by Google.
Michelle Drouin, a psychology professor at Purdue University Fort Wayne, studies technology’s effects on personal relationships.
She is the author of “Out of Touch: How to Survive an Intimacy Famine.”
Drouin describes humans as “info-vores,” beings that crave information. Google makes it easy to satisfy that desire, she said.
