As the College of Liberal Arts opens its first summer camp this week, participants will be introduced to topics such as history, bookbinding, international language and culture, anthropology, criminal justice, genealogy, medieval studies, and creative writing. All subjects will be directed by Purdue University Fort Wayne faculty, including creative writing by Indiana Poet Laureate Curtis Crisler, professor in the Department of English and Linguistics.
Crisler recently gave a demonstration of his work in Helmke Library. Watch the video below to hear his thoughts on the importance of art in today's world and a performance of one of his poems.
