IU Law Professor Discusses Origins of Critical Race Theory
Kevin Brown, a Richard S. Melvin Professor of Law at Indiana University Bloomington, helped the College of Liberal Arts launch its inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lecture Series on March 17. Brown’s presentation, “Critical Race Theory Explained by an Original Participant,” explored his experience as one of the 25 law professors who met at the first CRT workshop in Madison, Wisconsin, during the summer of 1989.
