Little River Wetlands Project celebrating World Wetlands Day with week of conservation-themed activities

Sunday, Feb. 2, is World Wetlands Day.

To celebrate, the Little River Wetlands Project is hosting conservation-themed activities throughout the upcoming week.

One of the events is a ‘Wetlands in Winter’ educational event, held today at Purdue Fort Wayne’s Environmental Resources Center from 2 to 3 p.m. The event will educate community members on the ecologic value of wetlands to wildlife in the cold months.
