Partnership between Fort Wayne school, university, leads to 'music of Levan Scott'
Music filled a Fort Wayne elementary school gym Wednesday afternoon as fifth graders sang and played instruments for their younger peers at stations supervised by college students.
The performances at Levan Scott Academy included instrumental tunes performed on xylophones and recorders while others featured vocal renditions of songs by such artists as Toosii and Meghan Trainor.
The music fair at the Fort Wayne Community school showcased the work accomplished during the spring semester by two fifth grade music classes and four Purdue Fort Wayne music education majors.
