PFW business school brings in $1.32 million

Gifts totaling $1.32 million have been pledged since mid-November to help grow and enhance the Doermer School of Business at Purdue University Fort Wayne, the institution announced Tuesday.

Recent commitments include:

  • $800,000 from the Doermer Family Foundation
  • $300,000 from the English-Bonter-Mitchell Foundation
  • $150,000 from Max and Janet Laudeman
  • $70,000 from the Edward M. & Mary McCrea Wilson Foundation

The university announced that money from the first three gifts will help fund a total renovation of the Doermer School of Business Building’s second floor.

The project, with a targeted August 2026 completion date, will allow for 10 more classrooms and the relocation of all Doermer School of Business faculty and staff from other locations across campus.
