PFW experts to help county leaders develop plan for fire district merger
Allen County leaders are looking to streamline fire protection services by merging four fire districts and one fire territory into a single, countywide fire district.
To figure out how to make it work, they’re turning to experts at Purdue Fort Wayne.
County commissioners voted Friday to bring in PFW researchers to develop a detailed plan for the potential merger for fire districts.
