Purdue Fort Wayne to celebrate multilingual population at new event
A new event next month at Purdue University Fort Wayne will celebrate a population that’s more than 7,000 strong in northeast Indiana—multilingual learners.
The campus announced Thursday that its Teaching English as a New Language program and the Three Rivers Language Center in the School of Education will host the inaugural Multilingual Northeast Indiana Gala on Sept. 21.
The event is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. in the International Ballroom at Walb Student Union. Tickets start at $25.
