Purdue Fort Wayne’s Day of Giving invites donors to support brighter futures
For a full 24 hours on April 24, anyone who appreciates and supports what Purdue University Fort Wayne students do to secure a stronger future for themselves and the regional workforce is invited to take part in the 6th annual Day of Giving.
Mastodons are ambitious. They’re ready to explore and work toward their dreams. Day of Giving – the Big Give – is all about encouraging experiences and building opportunities in and out of the classroom. Gifts big or small can make a real difference in the lives of Purdue Fort Wayne students.
“Our Day of Giving is a wonderful opportunity for the community to demonstrate its active support and enthusiasm for our students and our university,” said Chancellor Ron Elsenbaumer. “Everyone can express their confidence in Purdue Fort Wayne by investing in scholarships, academic programs, campus infrastructure, athletics, and other critical initiatives.”
And think about this, a majority of the Mastodon Alumni Community's more than 55,000 alumni reside and work in Indiana, which contributes significantly to the state’s economy, vitality, and intellectual strength.
Two weeks from today, friends from across the country and around the globe will be able to do their part to help keep the momentum going so Purdue Fort Wayne students can continue to make a difference on campus, in Fort Wayne, coast to coast, and beyond. Starting at midnight on April 24, visit dayofgiving.pfw.edu for updates and to make a donation.
The university is also spreading the word with its 2024 Day of Giving video, which can be viewed by clicking here.
