Purdue Fort Wayne to Host World Wetlands Day Presentation

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Bruce Kingsbury, Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor of Biology, and Director of the Environmental Resources Center (ERC), is hosting a lecture for World Wetlands Day on Saturday, February 2, at 7 p.m. in Room 185 of the Science Building on campus.

The presentation, titled Wetland Wildlife – More than Mosquitoes, will close out a day of activities in Fort Wayne and Allen County celebrating World Wetlands Day.

Kingsbury will give an update on the Environmental Resources Center and its move into a new location on campus next to the St. Joseph River.

The event is free and open to the public.
