Tickets now available for Frank Abagnale Omnibus Lecture

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Tickets are now available for the first lecture of the 2018-19 Purdue University Fort Wayne Omnibus Lecture Series season, featuring Frank Abagnale, who will present his lecture titled, "Catch Me If You Can: An Evening with Frank Abagnale." The lecture will take place Thursday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Auer Performance Hall, located in the Rhinehart Music Center on campus.

Over the last 50 years, Frank Abagnale went from one of the world’s most famous con men to one of its most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement, and secure documents.

His riveting story provided the inspiration for both Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film and the Tony-Award winning musical Catch Me If You Can.

Abagnale conducted more than 3,000 seminars on identity theft, fraud, and cybercrime, and advised hundreds of government agencies, financial institutions, and corporations, and more than 14,000 organizations use his fraud prevention programs.

He has been associated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for more than 40 years and lectures extensively at the FBI Academy and field offices. Abagnale refuses to accept payment for any of his government work.

The lecture is free to attend but tickets are required. Tickets can be picked up in person Monday–Friday from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Larson Ticket Office, located inside the Athletics Center on campus. Tickets are also available online through the Purdue Fort Wayne Box Office website. A $1 service fee will be charged per ticket for online orders.
