TRIO is our nation’s commitment to the dream of education for all Americans regardless of race, ethnic background, or economic circumstance. A federally funded college-opportunity program, TRIO motivates and supports students in their pursuit of a college degree. Our programs provide mentoring, motivation, encouragement, counseling, financial guidance, tutoring, and other supports necessary for educational access and retention.

Earning a college degree is difficult. Becoming a TRIO student can make a difference in getting to graduation.

TRIO is federally funded by the US Department of Education and serves 140 Purdue Fort Wayne students annually. There is no fee to be a part of TRIO.
