Faculty Success
Purdue University Fort Wayne uses Faculty Success by Watermark, software designed to organize, manage, and report on faculty activities and CV data. Like many other HLC institutions seeking to obtain better understanding and organization of faculty faculty activities, Purdue Fort Wayne benefits from fewer request of faculty for this type of information, gains additional insight into faculty efforts, and has improved reporting at all levels of the academic organization.

Workflow
Faculty reviews are complex, time consuming and involve many people on campus, including faculty, committee members, department chairs, deans and vice chancellor. Digitizing these processes, including annual evaluations and promotion and tenure, eliminates manual tasks, reduces inefficiency and errors and improves the ability to track progress. Best of all, our new process management solution leverages the data and customization that’s already available in Faculty Success. Workflow is our solution for digitizing and managing your faculty processes.

Faculty Workload Reporting
Each semester our departments work to effectively report the work preformed by our faculty. Below you will find the resources we use to best complete this important university process.
For additional questions and concerns on reporting faculty workload values please contact Irah Modry-Caron 1-6375 [email protected]
The Faculty Workload view is divided into three separate sections. The first section enumerates the FTE of Faculty Categories (Full-Time, Part-Time, etc.) by the specific Faculty Activity Type (Instructional, Research, General Instructional Support, Administration, and Other). The second section analyzes Enrollment and Credit Hour Ratios by Instructional FTE and Total FTE by Faculty Category. The third section is a course level detail that identifies course level information including faculty headcount, number of sections taught and the percentage of small class-section taught. The available filters for this view include Term, College, Department, and Faculty Category.
