The executive branch consists of the student body president, vice president of legislation, and vice president of finance. These three officers are elected each spring by the student body and serve one-year terms, which begin each May.

The student senate is the student government branch responsible for advocating for students’ rights and interests, allocating funding to student organizations for events and programs, chartering new student organizations, and confirming presidential nominations.

The judicial court comprises one chief justice and six associate justices. The court’s primary duties are to issue rulings on the constitutionality of proposed legislation and to act as the arbitrating body for disputes within the Student Government Association.

You probably already know you can save a lot of money by renting your textbooks, but did you know you can also rent iPads and graphing calculators? That’s because the Student Government Association has set up a rental program to help you save even more.

Student Shuttle Program

Catch a free ride. 

The Student Government Association, in partnership with the Division of Enrollment Management and the Student Experience, has launched this program to provide you with free transportation to and from campus from surrounding apartment complexes, as well as weekly trips to Walmart.
