Executive Branch
The executive branch consists of the student body president, vice president of legislation, and vice president of finance. These three officers are elected each spring by the student body and serve
one-year terms, which begin each May.
Student Senate
The student senate is the student government branch responsible for advocating for students’ rights and interests, allocating funding to student organizations for events and programs, chartering new student organizations, and confirming presidential nominations.
Judicial Court
The judicial court comprises one chief justice and six associate justices. The court’s primary duties are to issue rulings on the constitutionality of proposed legislation and to act as the arbitrating body for disputes within the Student Government Association.
