What We Do
The Bowling Herd
Show off your bowling skills with fellow Dons and hit the lanes for fun or to compete collegiately
- The Bowling Club is in existence to provide a resource for keglers in the Fort Wayne, Indiana community.
- It will offer the opportunity for members to represent Purdue Fort Wayne at collegiate tournaments.
Section I. Qualification:
- Fifty-one percent of the total membership must be currently enrolled students at Purdue Fort Wayne and only those members may vote, hold office, and represent the organization/university in an official capacity.
- The minimum membership requirement is eight members.
- All members must have a waiver of liability signed and on file with the Risk Management office
- Membership and participation shall be free from discrimination and harassment per the policies of the Purdue Fort Wayne Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct as stated in Part I, Section A, Items 3 and 4.
Section II. Types of Membership
- Voting membership shall be open to all students currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours at Purdue Fort Wayne.
- Members of the collegiate travel team must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and abide by all USBC Collegiate rules as stated in the USBC Collegiate Rulebook
- Members of the practice non-traveling team are not subject to USBC Collegiate rules as stated in the USBC Collegiate Rulebook
- Members of the collegiate travel team must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and abide by all USBC Collegiate rules as stated in the USBC Collegiate Rulebook
- Non-voting memberships may be held by faculty, staff, alumni, non-Purdue Fort Wayne students, or community members.
Section III. Financial Obligation
- Dues will be paid at the beginning of each semester. Members of the collegiate travel team will pay $300 per semester. Members of the practice non-traveling team will pay $100 per semester
