What We Do

Get Creative with Clay

  • The purpose and objectives of this organization is to raise supplemental money for educational activities or equipment through organized pottery sales. The ceramic club will raise the money and club members will vote on how it will be spent.

Section I - Qualifications

  1. Membership in the Fine Arts Ceramic Club shall be open to all students enrolled in at least one (1) credit hour Purdue University Fort Wayne.
  2. Twenty five percent (25%) of the membership of the Fine Arts Ceramic Club may be constituted of non-Purdue Fort Wayne students.
  3. Only "students" of the ceramic club may vote, hold office, and represent the organization/university in an official capacity. The minim um membership requirement is 8 members at all times.
  4. No person who subscribes to the purpose of the Fine Arts Ceramic Club shall be discriminated against because of race, ethnic origin, gender, age, marital status, religion or disability. Membership and participation shall be free from discrimination and harassment per the policies of the Purdue Fort Wayne Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and conduct as stated in Part 1Section A, items 3 and 4.

Section II - Status

  1. At the beginning of each fall semester, incoming officers will recruit members for the club. The Secretary of the Fine Arts Ceramic Club will maintain a current membership list.
  2. An individual once a member shall retain active membership status in the Fine Arts Ceramic until the end of the Academic Year or until such time as the member leaves the campus or fails to comply with the stated requirements and standards of this organization.

Section III - Dues

There shall be no dues required for membership in the Fine Arts Ceramic Club.
