What We Do
Helping hands
MEDLIFE is a volunteer-led global-health organization whose mission is to help families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. We seek to achieve this goal through partnering with motivated individuals from communities experiencing poverty and working to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development.
- To raise money for medicine, education, and community development projects for low-income families around the world
- To learn about the inequalities of global issues and promote MEDLIFE’s mission within our local community
- To provide an opportunity for the union of students’ passion to serve both their medical and nonmedical career aspirations.
Section I: Qualifications
- At least fifty-one percent of the total membership must be currently enrolled students of Purdue Fort Wayne and only those members may vote, hold office, and represent the organization/university in an official capacity. In addition, there is a membership requirement of a minimum of 8 members.

- Membership and participation shall be free from discrimination and harassment per the policies of the PFW Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct as stated in Part 1 Section A, Items 3 and 4.
Section II: Financial Obligation
- Members are required to pay a membership fee of $10 per semester. This fee will be utilized to provide food at the meetings, bring in guest speakers, and host events at the end of each semester to acknowledge the hard work of our members.
