Audition Requirements
for Voice

Applicants should prepare two songs of contrasting character. These need to be memorized with at least one classical art song or an appropriate aria. Applicants are encouraged to sing in two different languages. Sight singing, aural perception and a dramatic reading will also be a part of the audition. When calling to schedule your audition, indicate whether you would like to bring your own pianist or hire a School of Music pianist as an accompanist for your audition.
