Talk to your high school guidance counselor to determine your eligibility based on our admission requirements.
Apply and get approval.
Complete and submit your application here. As soon as you submit your application, a permission form will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. Your parent or guardian will need to complete, sign, and submit the form. This is a critical step and must be completed before we can process your application
Send your transcripts.
Have your high school counselor send us your official transcript as soon as possible.
Admission Requirements
Know the criteria.
- Maintain a B average (a grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale or 7.4 on a 12.0 scale)
- Meet the course prerequisites, as needed
- Get approval from your parent or guardian
- Maintain a B average (a grad -point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 8.0 on a 12.0 scale)
- Have taken at least one semester or trimester of high school work
- Meet the course prerequisites as needed
- Get approval from parent or guardian
As a homeschooled student, you’ll need to be following the curriculum requirements of the Indiana Core 40 or Academic Honors diploma in order to qualify for the Collegiate Connection program.
APPLICATION PROCESS
To complete your application, follow these steps:
- Submit a Collegiate Connection application
- Submit your homeschool transcript
- Submit a photocopy of your SAT or ACT test-score report.
- SAT composite: 840 (420 minimum in math)
- ACT composite: 16 (15 minimum in math)
- Schedule an appointment with the Collegiate Connection coordinator by contacting us at 260-481-5478
DEVELOP A TRANSCRIPT OF HOMESCHOOLING
Use these guidelines to create a transcript, if you haven’t used a program or curricula that already transcripts your education record. Be sure to include the following components:
- Your name, address, phone number, and date of birth
- Information for each high school grade level (grades 9 through 12)
- All subjects studied
- The number or letter grade earned in each course
- Amount of credit for each course
- The grading scale used to determine grades
- Extracurricular activities
- Date of graduation
- Signature of the homeschool administrator or teacher verifying they were your educator
