Take 10 Minutes for Health and Well-being
Employee Well-being at Work
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Employee Well-being at Work event for faculty and staff in October will focus on a short, guided meditation and deep breathing exercises to help clear your mind, refocus, and relax.
The monthly theme and challenge reflects financial wellness, one of the pillars of wellness. When you take advantage of preventive care benefits, such as flu shots, you help protect your physical health as well as your financial wellness because preventative care screenings and vaccines are covered by your Purdue medical plan. October's Healthy Boiler Challenge invites you to track your spending each day for a month as a way to monitor what you actually spend versus guessing what you spend.
Visit the Employee Well-being web site for upcoming Healthy Boiler workshops for faculty and staff which promote financial wellness such as Leveraging Pharmacy Resources and more.
Employee Well-being at Work is a program where the Employee Well-being team will be available to meet with faculty and staff each month. Our team is focused on working for you and your well-being.
Each month we will visit a different building and offer health and well-being tips or health checks, healthy snacks, giveaways, and information about upcoming events and programs. We would also like to gather information about your biggest health and well-being concerns so we can create programs to address your needs.
