Guest Artist Concert – icarus Quartet

icarus Quartet (iQ) presents "Bartók Rebórn. Comprised of two pianists and two percussionists, icarus Quartet aspires to break the mold and fly to new heights in the world of contemporary music. This brand-new program features the seminal work for this instrumentation by Béla Bartók, the "Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion," alongside three new commissions in response to Bartók's work by Martin Bresnick, Viet Cuong, and Pulitzer prize-winning composer, Jennifer Higdon.
