Purdue University Fort Wayne School of Music and Department of Theatre are pleased to announce our first annual vocal competition for high school singers. All high school students,
grades 9-12, are eligible to participate. Singers should be prepared to sing two solos within one (or more) of the following categories: Classical, Music Theatre, or Pop/Rock Singer. Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes and each competitor will be considered for possible talent-based PFW scholarships*. Cost of registration is $25, which includes entry into the competition and educational masterclasses. All singers will receive valuable feedback for upcoming ISSMA, show choir solo, and Indiana State Thespian Conference competitions.
*Students must apply to Purdue University Fort Wayne to access any scholarship offers.
