The Wellbeing Summit will feature over 50 vendors offering engaging activities, mental health and self-care resources, and educational opportunities. Events are free and will take place throughout the day, primarily in the Walb Student Union International Ballroom.
As part of Purdue Fort Wayne’s commitment to fostering a culture of wellbeing, the university will officially sign the Okanagan Charter at the summit, marking its designation as a Health Promoting Campus. This milestone reinforces the universities dedication to integrating health and wellbeing into all aspects of campus life.
All currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff are highly encouraged to attend and participate. Free t-shirts will be available in the International Ballroom while supplies last.
Some activities require registration, and space is limited—be sure to sign up early to secure your spot!

Wellbeing Summit 2025
The health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff is very important. The Well-Being Summit offers activities which focus on the Five Pillars of Health for overall well-being from the Healthy Boiler Program—behavioral health, financial wellness, physical health, social wellness, and work-life integration.
Whether you want to pet therapy dogs, pick up a potted plant for your office or home, talk with vendors about their services—the Well-being Summit provides all kinds of fun activities for our campus community
Physical wellness activities will include the following,
Table Massages/Chair Massages, Biomat Station, Skincare Station.
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (By Appointment), 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Walk-In Availability)

Blood pressure checks, Hearing screenings, and Bone density screenings will also be available from our vendors! Stop-in to ensure that your physical health is the best it can be.

Join us for a painting party!
Time: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Location: Walb Student Union, Atrium Dining Area.
The painting party is brought to you by Painting with a Twist. The event is limited to 25 people, to RSVP please visit the link below.
The Vendor Fair will consist of over 50 vendors that will be able to give you information about your overall wellbeing needs!
Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

No RSVP is needed, free t-shirts with also be available, while supplies last.
Succulents are being given out during the vendor fair!

The plants are brought to you by Honey Plant. No RSVP is required, plants will be given out while supplies last.
Therapy dogs will be at the Wellbeing Summit from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Andy the therapy pony will be at the Wellbeing Summit from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

The Racial Wealth Gap Learning Simulation is being provided for students to gain an understanding into diversity efforts and how important equality is. This event is presented to you by Bread for the World.
Time: 2 p.m. -3:30 p.m.
Location: Walb Student Union, Classic Ballroom.

The Okanagan Charter
The Okanagan Charter is a declaration stating our commitment to becoming a health-promoting campus. The charter has two calls to action,
- To embed health into all aspects of campus culture, across the administration, operations and academic mandates.
- To lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.
