OPTION 1
Transform standard courses into an Honors course with an H-Option!
An H-Option enables students to earn honors credit in non-honors classes through a contract agreed upon by both the student and professor. This involves completing additional tasks, like extra projects or papers, to enhance the learning experience.
How to Obtain an H-Option:
Initiate Discussions: After the first week of classes, talk to your professor about the possibility of an H-Option.
Contract Request: If your professor agrees, contact Honors Program Director Combs at [email protected] to request an H-Option contract. Please include the course information in the email along with notice that your processor has approved this request.
Approval and Processing: The contract requires DocuSign signatures from you, the professor, the department chair, and the honors director. Once signed, it's processed by the Office of the Registrar, and honors credit is added to your academic record upon submission of final grades.
Start your H-Option journey by reaching out to the Honors Program Director Combs at [email protected]
