Bigtooth Aspen
Description
Leaves of the bigtooth aspen have large teeth, and the leaf stem is flattened. Very fast growing, the bigtooth aspen can quickly reforest disturbed sites. Suckers usually develop from shallow lateral roots. Twigs furnish food for wildlife; leaves and flower buds provide ruffed grouse with an important food source.
