Peachleaf Willow

Description
Peachleaf willow is found in Indiana along stream banks and swamps. The bark of the trunk is fissured. The branches are yellow to reddish brown and droop, giving it a “weeping” appearance. Its leaves are long, about two to five inches, and finely serrated. Its flowers are long catkins. Its wood is light, soft, weak, and lacking in durability, and therefore of little commercial value.
