Sourwood

Description
Sourwood is primarily a tree of the upland forests of the Southeast. It naturally occurs very rarely in Indiana, and then only in a few counties in the south. It is sometimes called Lily-of-the-Valley Tree due to the look of its early summer flower clusters. A small-to-medium-sized pyramidal tree, the sourwood is excellent for landscaping. The fall color is multihued and brilliant. It is an important nectar tree for bees in some areas.
