Waterlocust

Description
Waterlocust is a medium tree (up to 50 feet in height) that prefers frequently inundated river bottoms and swamps. It has compound leaves six to eight inches long consisting of 12–20 leaflets. Its fruit is flat, oval to round, contains one to three seeds, and is one to three inches long by one-inch thick. It has a thorn similar to its relative, the honeylocust. In Indiana, it is found in the southwestern counties.
