Dons row, row, row their boats at ‘Day on the River’
As Purdue Fort Wayne’s prime season for outdoor fun begins to wind down, students and various university leaders spent some time Sept. 28 on the waterway that makes up the west border of the main campus. The university’s first “Day on the River” included kayaking, airboat rides, yoga, tie-dye projects, biking, and food trucks.
The event was the first of six being planned and hosted by the PFW Division of Enrollment Management and the Student Experience’s 14-member engagement board during the 2023–24 academic year.
