Experts from Purdue Fort Wayne discuss student loan relief
In what has turned into a yearslong question of will it happen or won’t it happen, a plan to wipe out as much as $20,000 for up to 40 million federal student loan borrowers could be nearing an pivotal moment at some point in the next few months. That’s when the Supreme Court is expected to rule on two cases involving President Joe Biden’s proposed relief program.
The court began hearing oral arguments Feb. 28. Members of local media reached out to experts from PFW to get an update.
