PFW joins health network, introduces new division focused on well-being during Thursday Summit

Purdue Fort Wayne has officially joined the U.S. Health Promoting Campuses Network.

On Thursday, the university held a ceremony to adopt the Okanagan Charter.

The Okanagan Charter, developed in 2015 by higher education and health promotion leaders from around the world, provides a framework for embedding health into all aspects of campus culture, administration, operations, and academic priorities.

It is the first college or university in Indiana to adopt the Okanagan Charter and joins 38 other colleges and universities as part of the U.S. Health Promoting Campuses Network.
