Purdue Fort Wayne counting down to 5th annual Day of Giving
For a full 24 hours on April 26, anyone who appreciates and supports the vital role Purdue University Fort Wayne students play in securing a better tomorrow is invited to take part in the fifth annual Day of Giving.
Many current and prospective students need financial assistance in the form of scholarships to achieve their goal of earning a Purdue degree. Most benefit from knowing the university’s academic programs, its campus infrastructure, and other critical initiatives have solid backing. This is why Day of Giving exists.
“This year’s campaign is called ‘the Big Give’ and it’s a great opportunity to celebrate our students and their accomplishments, now and in the future,” said B.J. Hull, chief development officer, Purdue Fort Wayne. “Our Day of Giving also represents a chance for everyone to support those causes closest to their heart – and regardless of their choice – every gift makes a big Impact.”
Of Purdue Fort Wayne’s more than 65,000 alumni, 50% live and work in northeast Indiana and 75% call Indiana home.
New for 2023, various leaders from Purdue Fort Wayne’s university community sat down to describe on camera why Day of Giving is meaningful to them and to the students they serve.
