Major scholarships are highly competitive and applying takes a lot of work. You are a good candidate for a major scholarship if one or more of the following are true:

  • You are ambitious; you want to excel in your career.
  • You are interested in travel and learning languages.
  • You have a high GPA (over 3.7).
  • You enjoy doing original research in your academic field.
  • You plan to go to graduate school.
  • You have a record of leadership in extra-curricular activities.

Hello! I am Dr. Noor Borbieva O'Neill, professor of anthropology at PFW and director of OMSA since 2020. I am also a major scholarship alumna--I received a Fulbright student grant to the Kyrgyz Republic in 2003. Contact me using one of the methods under "get started."
